Microsoft
has recently released the Developer Preview edition of their upcoming
Windows Desktop family Operating System, codenamed Windows 8. The new
Windows version has moved far away from the traditional appearance of
earlier Windows Operating Systems, especially in terms of Graphical User Interface
(GUI). The new design of Windows is basically made to support Tablet
PCs as well, along with Laptops and Desktops. Microsoft foresees the
current trends in the Tablet PC market, since the launch of Apple's iPAD in 2010. Here I have just collected Download links to the Microsoft Windows Developer preview editions.
Please read the below release note by Microsoft before the installation.
"The
Windows Developer Preview is a pre-beta version of Windows 8 for
developers. These downloads include pre-release software that may change
without notice. The software is provided as is, and you bear the risk
of using it. It may not be stable, operate correctly or work the way
the final version of the software will. It should not be used in a
production environment. The features and functionality in the prerelease
software may not appear in the final version. Some product features
and functionality may require advanced or additional hardware, or
installation of other software".
Note: This Operating System is packaged as ISO image. You have to use an ISO image read to run the file. Such as Power ISO
